Lever forms look short and are not. The custom questions sit below the fold, and the location field will not accept what you typed unless you pick from its list.
Lever's location input is an autocomplete. Typing a city is not enough — the value only commits when a suggestion is selected, so a form that looks filled submits with an empty location. It is handled by typing the city, waiting for the list and picking the match, falling back to the city alone if the full string returns nothing.
Sponsorship, notice period and eligibility questions are rendered as pill buttons that toggle. Clicking one that is already selected unsets it, which is indistinguishable from never answering. Each one is set once, deliberately, and re-checked afterwards.
Lever renders voluntary self-identification as radio groups rather than dropdowns. They are answered from your stated self-identification and left blank where you have not answered.
Some Lever postings add an hCaptcha check on submit. Where that happens, the form is filled and handed to you to submit, for the same reason it is on Greenhouse: an automated submission against a CAPTCHA is a flagged submission.
Fill the whole form, including the parts that only commit when you pick from a list.
